Studying the $$phi$$ meson in nuclear matter from simulated pA reactions

Gubler, P.

Hadron Spectroscopy and Structure; Proceedings of the 18th International Conference (HADRON 2019), p.694 - 698, 2020/08

Based on my recent research, I will explain about my numerical simulation of pA reactions (p: proton, A: nucleus), which are used to study the $$phi$$ meson in nuclear matter. I will particularly focus on the question of how the modification of the $$phi$$ meson spectral function in nuclear matter influences the experimentally observed di-lepton spectrum.

Strange pentaquarks with a hidden heavy quark-antiquark pair

Takeuchi, Sachiko*; Giachino, A.*; Takizawa, Makoto*; Santopinto, E.*; Oka, Makoto

Hadron Spectroscopy and Structure; Proceedings of the 18th International Conference (HADRON 2019), p.333 - 337, 2020/08

Pentaquarks with $$c bar{c}$$ or $$b bar{b}$$ heavy quarks are very much interesting. We analyze the strange pentaquark with $$c bar{c}$$ or $$b bar{b}$$ in the coupled-channel quark cluster model. We find bound, resonance and cusp like states.

Experimental study of double hypernuclei at J-PARC

Yoshida, Junya

no journal, ,

Double $$Lambda$$ hypernuclei and $$Xi$$ hypernuclei, collectively called "double hypernuclei", have come to play important roles in hadron nuclear physics as valuable information sources of baryon-baryon interaction. The most effective method to investigate them is event-by-event analysis with photographic emulsion sheets. An emulsion experiment to detect double hypernuclei has been performed in the J-PARC hadron facility in 2016-17. By this experiment, quantitative data on $$LambdaLambda$$ or $$Xi N$$ interaction in a nucleus are being accumulated successfully. A new nuclide of double hypernucleus, $$_{LambdaLambda}$$Be, was observed. Several other interesting events have been found and further event search is going on.
